Charter FAQ

The Charter FAQ module provides a mechanism to provide Frequently Asked Questions and their responses to a user based on their selection of a given category or on entry of free form text.

Charter FAQ is a stand-alone application, which means that it may be used without requiring a Charter Continuum setup or database.  Charter FAQ consists of the following elements:

  • Database tables to store FAQ elements
  • .NET components providing Index and Search functions
  • Web Service allowing access to the core index and search functions
  • ASP.NET application providing full FAQ functionality (this may be embedded within an IFrame in another application)
  • FAQ Question and Answer administration and maintenance tool
  • Reporting facility to report on questions asked and relevance of response

Combined with Charter Email Management this can become an extremely powerful tool for delivery excellent response times and reducing the volume of emails that require human intervention.
